Been trying to get squid to work with NTLM and pass to Dansguardian,
but with limited success. I have the NTLM working with squid, but
having trobules getting pages to show. I am hoping someone can see
what might be wrong on my config.

squid.conf:

http_port 127.0.0.1:3128
http_port 8080
icp_port 3130

cache_peer 127.0.0.1 parent 3130 3120 proxy-only no-netdb-exchange
no-query login=*:passwd default

acl QUERY urlpath_regex cgi-bin \?
no_cache deny QUERY

auth_param ntlm program /usr/lib/squid/wb_ntlmauth
auth_param ntlm children 30
auth_param ntlm max_challenge_reuses 0
auth_param ntlm max_challenge_lifetime 2 minutes

auth_param basic program /usr/lib/squid/wb_auth
auth_param basic children 5
auth_param basic realm Squid proxy-caching web server
auth_param basic credentialsttl 2 hours

acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
acl manager proto cache_object
acl localhost src 127.0.0.1/255.255.255.255
acl to_localhost dst 127.0.0.0/8

http_access deny manager
# Deny requests to unknown ports
http_access deny !Safe_ports
# Deny CONNECT to other than SSL ports
http_access deny CONNECT !SSL_ports

visible_hostname jolly

forwarded_for on

And in Dansguardian, I have:

filterip = 127.0.0.1

filterport = 3120

proxyip = 127.0.0.1

proxyport = 3128

usernameidmethodproxyauth = on
usernameidmethodntlm = off # **NOT IMPLEMENTED**
usernameidmethodident = off
forwardedfor = off
usexforwardedfor = on

Both services start up ok, but when I try to go to a webpage using the
proxy:8080 I get page can not be displayed. In the squid access log I
am getting:

1124450066.144 922 172.16.166.44 TCP_DENIED/407 1694 GET
http://home.microsoft.com/ fleetone/freemancr NONE/- text/html

If someone can see what is wrong, I would appreciate it. Been trying
to get this to work for a few days now and always seem to take 1 step
forward and 2 steps back on it.
