Don't know for sure,
here is ma configure:
./configure --enable-snmp --with-openssl=/opt/ssl\
--enable-auth="basic ntlm" --enable-err-languages="English" \
--enable-basic-auth-helpers="MSNT multi-domain-NTLM winbind PAM" \
--enable-ntlm-auth-helpers="winbind fakeauth" --enable-storeio=diskd,ufs \
--enable-external-acl-helpers="wbinfo_group" --enable-ntlm-fail-open \
--enable-ntlm-authentication --enable-snmp --enable-removal-policies="lru
heap"

and the env used:
export CC=gcc
export LDFLAGS="-L/opt/lib -L/opt/ssl/lib"
export CPPFLAGS="-I/opt/include -I/opt/ssl/include"
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/lib:/opt/lib:/opt/ssl/lib
export LD_RUN_PATH=/lib:/opt/lib:/opt/ssl/lib
the bind I have installed is 9.2.3
