And is there even a 32 limit in Squid-2.5?

Note: It's better to use the internal DNS client (the default) where this
limititation does not exists at all as there is no childrends. The
internal DNS client handles "unlimited" number of concurrent DNS lookups.

COSS is not using async-io in 2.5.
