Hello,

I have a new configuration and i want to use web content filtering so i
heard that dansguardian is good!
Now i have a working configuration like this=

Client ==> dansguardian ==> squid ==> internet

The problem with this is that i can't use the acl's in squid and i
really REALLY need to use my good old acl's!
(some users can only connect to some www's etc).
I can read at some sites that i can change a parameter in the
configurations and then i should be able to use squid acl's.

This parameter is X-forwarded-for...
So, i changed this in the dansguardian.conf file but it stays the same.
I can also see in squid's access.log that the ip that is trying to
connect is still the one from dansguardian.
I thought that squid would "recognize" the ip address from the client in
the package and that the regular acl's would be working.

1) How can i make this working so that i can use my ACL's in squid AND
web content filtering from dansguardian
2) will browsing be much slower because of the content filtering ?

Cheers & thnx
Philippe
