You cannot use 'top' for that task!

The man page says it's used for a different purpose.

Could you please do some more homework and come back later when you have
some nice data?

On this list, you will get support mostly if you run Squid-2.5STABLE12.
Else they will always suggest to you to run it and see if that makes a
difference. It's no good running obsolete versions, unless you're very
very comfortable with them, and in which case you shouldn't be asking
these questions.
