- Squidguard redirect is 'first in place' and independent of object
caching or not.

As to it's performance ; You can use Cachemgr -> Url redirector stats.

Check the value for : 'avg service time' ; guess shoud not exceed 5millisec;
to avoid outside-SLA SQUID-servicing.
