This is a general *nix question. It's depends on the usage of the box.
(how heavily used) and how much it will push the memory. SWAP is needed
only when RAM isn't enough.

I've got 1.5GB in my laptop, I have 2.5GB swap, never touched. (It's
just _that_ big to support software suspend.)
