no .. i do believe the number is correct .. sometimes it went over 7000
request .. this cache serves a whole university with around 15000 users
or so..

  anyway, i tried to increase the cache size with no success.. the
cache doesn't even fill up.. with calamaris i found out that most of
sites that
the users go toare non-cacheable such as webmails, IM, https, etc .. also from
calamaris i got a very good cache hit for images and other cacheable
objects ..
so
i guess that there's nothing i could do to increase the byte hit ratios ..
