Hello ,
Any body using the zero penalty hit patch? I have recently patched squid
and its working fine. My question is about the zph_tos_local value. I
find we could not give any value we like although it falls between 0-63.
Currently I am using 0x10 (decimal 16) value for zph_tos_local. I am
using this value to define the QoS in the bandwidth manager that the
TCP_HIT packets are to be moved freely without any restriction. There
are few issues like what values should we actually use for the
zph_tos_local. I read somewhere
(http://www.it-academy.bg/zph/tos_marking.html) that some httpd server
mark this (0x10) tos value when serving the request to the client.

Any body has detail idea about choosing this value? I will appreciate if
someone explain me in detail regarding this.

Regds,
Rajendra Adhikari
