Isn't that something the site.com administrator should take care of? That's
close to trivial with Apache for example.

If you feel you really need to do something like that with Squid try a
"redirector". You can find some on www.squid-cache.org -> Software ->
Redirectors.

I would expect redirecting URLs to break applications though.
