[squid-users] max number of files in cache?

today i got a squid crash with this entry in the log:

2006/05/19 11:38:16| assertion failed: filemap.c:78: "fm->max_n_files
<= (1 << 24)"

does this mean that squid has a limit on the maximum number of files
that can be in the cache?
