[squid-users] intermittent NTLM auth problem

Hi, I noticed a similar problem to this was posted recently - but could not
see any resolution.

Squid can be running fine for days, but then will crash up to 20 times in a
couple of hours. It seems to be during periods of heavy use.
Here is the error I get:

[2006/06/05 13:09:08, 1] utils/ntlm_auth.c:manage_squid_request(1604)
fgets() failed! dying..... errno=1 (Operation not permitted)
fgets() failed! dying..... errno=1 (Operation not permitted)
2006/06/05 13:09:10| Starting Squid Cache version 2.5.STABLE11 for
i686-pc-linux-gnu...

I get several lines of these "fgets failed dying" messages at a time (and
they seem to be causing the restarts) but I'm not sure what's causing them.

Any suggestions?

Richard
