Hi, i've got my squid set box up and able to use NTLM authentication. In the past i've been using ident with a service running on the windows clients, and use of this protocal can be limited to certain room ACLs i have setup in the conf.

Reading up on NTLM with squid it seems it may not be possible to do the same option? As it is all pcs are on the domain, & the stations are always operated via a domain logon, but we have quite number of staff with laptops that prefer to use their local users for speed and convience.

Adding NTLM and in turn giving these users a login window everytime they use the net is not preferable. Is there absolutely any way at all to limit NTLMs use to given stations? Thanks!
