flow these steps
1. wget http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v2/2.5/squid-2.5.STABLE14-20060530.tar.gz

2. tar -zxvf squid-2.5.STABLE14-20060530.tar.gz

3. cd squid-2.5.STABLE14-20060530

4. ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/squif

5. make all

6. sudo su < hit enter and when it ask u about password give it the
ur admin user's password>

7. make install
