Re: [squid-users] Squid - Upgrading Weird Problem - Timeout

I don't have dns_nameservers congifured at squid.conf. Instead, I use two
DNS' on resolv.conf. Which worked really fine for Squid 2.5/STABLE6.

I'll put this line on squid.conf and try it out. I'll use the same dns' used
in resolv.conf and try it out.

By the way, I got squid working by putting in /etc/rc.d/init.d/squid restart
in the rc.local file, but I would like to find a more elegant way to
overcome this problem.

Thank you!

Everything returns to normal when I restart squid service (ex:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/squid restart)

problems. If it were network problems, by restarting squid, things would
continue to go wrong right? Has anyone gone through this?

What is the dns_nameservers configured on the squid.conf.
Are able to query the dnsserver from command line using dig

dig @dnsnameserver

If does not get the correct record, try changing the dnsserver.
