[squid-users] Limit session question

We have an old version of squid - Squid Cache: Version 2.4.

When users start Internet Explorer they are prompted for a username and
password. Their level of Internet access is determined by the username
they enter (some users have full access some users have restricted
access)

I assume that there is no way via squid to identify a particular
Internet Explorer session by username and close it after a certain
period of time?

If not does anyone know of any software (whether it be server based or
client based) that may perform such a task?
