Hi,

We are running squid-2.5.STABLE6 for a our proxy servers and we
encounter the following messages in the cache.log

WARNING: All sendheaders processes are busy.
WARNING: up to 40 pending requests queued
aclMatchExternal: 'sendheaders' queue overload. Request rejected.

We tested our helpers and they can do 6000 requests in .02 seconds so we
don't believe its the actual helpers causing this issue.
We have 40 helpers running a swell.

How does squid go about its queuing for external acls? It heads for the
cached acl lookup then if its expired it will queue for a helper?

Is it possible squids queue could be the bottle neck?(maybe its not able
to pass requests off fast enough to the helper).

Regards
Daniel
