[squid-users] Newbie: Transparent Cache Question

Hi;
I'm using the latest distro of squid on a FreeBSD 6.1 box. I have read a
number of tutorials that indicate something similar to the following
notation should be used to set up a transparent cache:

httpd_accel_host virtual
httpd_accel_port 7080
httpd_accel_with_proxy on
httpd_accel_uses_host_header on

However, none of that markup appears in the current squid.conf file! Is
it all obsolete? Is it supported? Is there a better approach?

Furthermore, I have Pound 2.1 and Zope 2.7.8. I am using Squid between
Pound (front-end) and Zope (back-end). I think I understand how to send
requests from Pound to Squid--just forward them to the appropriate port
(I have Squid on 2020)--but how do I get Squid to pass those requests
along to port 7080, where Zope is listening?

TIA,
beno
