Hm,

don't know about "tcp windows scaling" or ECN but if you mean an entry in
the squid.conf, so there is no entry like scaling or ecn in my config.
When I access the page from the server which runs squid without using the
proxy, the page will be accessed:

w3m -no-proxy www.bundessortenamt.de # works
w3m www.bundessortenamt.de # does not work (same as access from client)
