Right. When you use --enable-epoll then Squid doesn't check as carefully
if it is implemented in the kernel, only that libc (or separate epoll
library) implements the userspace side..

epoll is implemented in all 2.6 kernels, but can be disabled in the
kernel configuration. Default enabled.
