What do you mean exacly?
Having Squid query some POP3 service to verify if the supplied login
+password is valid? That is possible indeed, you only need to write the
helper making this POP3 query... For reference I just dropped one in the
squid3 CVS repository under helpers/basic_auth/POP3/
