Re: [squid-users] Reverse proxy on Mail Server

Hello Wash,

It wasn't just a sheer imagination. I had tried the setup and squid is
supposedly running. But I don't see any error logs whatsoever and
following is the excerpt from squid.conf file that I have changed from
the original copy.

When I try to get to the email server from outside, it gives me the
generic "page cannot be displayed". My problem is there is no errors at
all so am not sure if it would work or not.

Help!!!!!

httpd_accel_host 10.1.x.xx (This is the IP of the ox-mail server)
httpd_accel_port 80
httpd_accel_with_proxy on
httpd_accel_uses_host_header off

here's the process running:
proxy:/etc/squid # ps aux | grep squid
root 5955 0.0 0.2 5072 1492 ? Ss Dec15 0:00 /usr/sbin/squid -sYD
squid 5957 0.0 0.8 7284 4568 ? S Dec15 0:00 (squid) -sYD
squid 5958 0.0 0.0 1216 272 ? Ss Dec15 0:00 (unlinkd)
root 15166 0.0 0.1 1684 628 pts/2 S+ 08:43 0:00 grep squid
proxy:/etc/squid #
