[squid-users] Squid and Internet Explorer

I have a question, more like seeing if anyone has heard of any known
issues/problems.

I am experiencing somewhat random problems with Internet Explorer and
the Squid Proxy Server we use. At random times, Internet Explorer will
fail to be able to connect to a website being accessed through the
proxy. Other browsers work fine (Mozilla) but IE has some problems.
Authentication is NOT turned on for the proxy.

Are there known issues with Internet Explorer and squid proxy or in
generaly anyone heard of problems with Internet Explorer and using a
proxy server?

I know this is kind of hard without specific information, but it is
really random in nature and not always tied to a specific web site. I do
not notice the problems when I am in a position to access sites without
going through the proxy.

Thanks in advance for any inputs.
