Hi,

I can get smb_auth to work, but only when i use the -U 10.x.x.x command. It obviously isnt automatically finding the domain controller. Any ideas why?

/usr/lib/squid/smb_auth -W ADMIN -d (doesnt work), but
/usr/lib/squid/smb_auth -W ADMIN -U 10.x.x.x -d (works).

Do i need to add the squid box to the domain? Though i have tried this, and it still doesnt work. Any ideas? Thanks.

Also krb5.conf, what is the point of this, when the above works? What benefits will i get from using kerberos? Sorry if that question is dumb, just starting out at this.
