Hi

I am getting this message in system log file.I am running SQUID and
Caching only DNS on that linus Box.

Feb 19 09:04:48 linuxgateway gconfd (root-23915): Resolved address
"xml:readonly:/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.mandatory" to a read-only
configuration source at position 0.

Is this message normal ???

Additionaly i want to ask that my squid cache is /usr/local/squid/var/cache

when i do ll -h i get

drwxr-xr-x 18 nobody nobody 4.0K Feb 19 09:14 cache
drwxr-xr-x 2 nobody nobody 4.0K Feb 19 09:14 logs

The size of cache is still too small, while its has been more then a
month that my squid server is up and runing. Can somebody guide me some
good tool to view and monitor cache statistics.

In the case i copy this cache directory to a newly built squid server,
will this cache also work there or that server will make it own
new/fresh cache.
