[squid-users] NTLM Process failure in 2.5

hello!

I am seeing very similar behaviour in squid 2.5 as what is mentioned in
this bug report:

 From what I can tell, the patch was only applied to 2.6. Is this
because patches are no longer issued to 2.5? Or does that specific
problem only effect 2.6?

The behaviour that I am seeing is all the ntlm helpers slowly get stuck
in the reserved state, till squid takes a fatal error and shuts down.

Also, the subscribe process is placing a period into the reply to field
- is this intended? eg:
squid-users-sc.<number>.<string>-<usr>=<domain>@squ.id-cache.org
