You can do a similar trick playing with tcp_outgoing_address and NAT.
Map your users with tcp_outgoing_address to another private IP space,
and then NAT them back to their real IP at a convenient point in your
network.

Or if your OS (and network) supports making outgoing connections using
the real IPs of the clients (i.e. like what the transparent proxy
support of Linux-2.2 did) then just map tcp_outgoing_address to the
clients real IP.

How to build the network to support this is left as an exercise to the
reader..
