Usually tcp windows playing games with you when this happens, but it
usually happens pretty quick then, not a bit into the download. Anyway
try

  echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_window_scaling

if it then works then the site has a broken firewall..

seems to work fine from here btw..
