What I meant is kinda backwards compatibility. I am caught between
squid-2.6 and 3.x. In the former, the configure flags included the
forwarded_for options. So when I did not see them in the later,
I started worrying...

Now I only need to know where they are documented and please don't tell
me to wade through the code:)
