Squid is a HTTP proxy, not a IP router. There is no packets going to
Squid, only TCP connections and HTTP requests over these TCP
connections.

HTTP is described in RFC2616. The basic request looks as follows:

GET http://www.squid-cache.org/ HTTP/1.1
Host: www.squid-cache.org
[other headers]
[blank line]
