THe difference is in what is being used as login name. When doing an
NTLM login the login name is usually domain/user, while in most other
login methods the login name is just the user name.

wbinfo_group understands both forms, since it is focused on being used
in Windows networks.

squid_ldap_group expects a plain user name as login as it's focus is
LDAP networks, but can be told via the -S option to ignore any NT domain
component of the login name.
