The wiki
(http://wiki.squid-cache.org/SquidFaq/SquidMemory#head-09818ad4cb8a1dfea1f51688c41bdf4b79a69991)
gives 10 MB RAM per GB of cache.

Given a cache_mem of 8MB and a cache_dir of 2 GB, I average around 30MB
of RAM used total (22-38) in a sample set of about 100 servers.
