In addition, Squid3 should support unrecognized HTTP methods such as
REGISTER via the work-in-progress patch that is available at
http://www.squid-cache.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=226

Please test the patch if "Unsupported method" errors bug you. The patch
will probably be committed for Squid 3.1 release.
