I believe the FedoraCore package is compatible with certain RedHat
releases, and its more up to date.

If you can post me a list of those compile errors I would be interested in
fixing them.

It's a little hard to trace problems through the 2.5 codebase. It having
been obsolete for so long. I hope you can find a solution somehere.
