If it matters and extension_methods is available (should be).
   add "extension_methods NICK" to squid.conf

If both NICK and REGISTER show up it may be some broken SIP software
sending SIP through Squid without wrapping it properly. Nothing can be
done about that short of fixing the SIP software.
