Thank you for the reply. If MRTG graph show the following:
 
Median Svc Time (5 min) 358.0ms (Max) 55.0ms (Average) 19.0ms (Current)
 
Does it mean that the squid proxy server is responding to each users' request at 19ms per request for current and on average of 55ms per request???
 
Pls also enlighten is there any parameters in the logfile or squid config which is able to tell the individual timing from client to proxy and from proxy to web server???
 
 
client --> proxy --> web server
