Even if I put in an ACL and specifically allow (http_access) I get a big HTML page: The requested URL could not be retrieved: While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.linkedin.com/ (example). Meanwhile I will try opening things up without removing the iptables redirect rule for 3128. Please advise, David.
Please reply to the list, as I may not have the answers or the time to
help. Reply-All usually works.

As for that problem, it sounds as if your ACLs might be in the wrong
order. You need to make specific exceptions before any general rules,
because Squid stops at the first match it finds.
