What requests are you seeing with no data? HTTP or HTTPS or other? with
what headers?

How are Squid and the ssl-proxy linked together?
  is squid a cache_peer of the ssl-proxy?
  or, is the ssl-proxy a reverse-proxy for the web server?

what headers are going out and coming back? from each section of the
linkages?
