Yes.

Quite slow for new visitors. The ext ACL caching helps a lot. But merely
makes it a minor issue against the rest of Squid. Worse than performance is
the frailty of the helpers needed to do the lookup.

Part of the upgrade is dragging it out of the message pathway unless
required, following the ident lookup example, so it does not affect message
handling when needed routinely.
