has a cache on memory, that you can set in a line like "cache_mem 128 MB"

3. Your old cache is removed by the refresh pattern.
Look this:
refresh_pattern -i \.jpg$ 10080 90% 10080
It means that every file ending with "jpg" will stay on the cache 1 week
(10080 minutes).
