ShoutCAST media streams? Support for that was added in 3.1. WHich is
either build-yourself or use the packages from Debian experimental
repositories.

Aye, "STABLE8" was not very stable as it turned out. I recommend using
the release in backports.org. If you go to 3.1 for the stream problem
that should cover this issue as well.

It's not an error. Someone is pushing garbage into Squid. Squid will log
them (the IP is usually a line or two below that message in older Squid)
then disconnect them.

Someone is using the manager interface to your Squid.
They are doing so from localhost, so I assume its you. Perhapse using
squidclient or cachemgr.cgi.
