Oh dear. Please, please use the latest bundle when building from source
(currently 3.0.STABLE24).

There are a HUGE amount of bugs been fixed over the lifetime of 3.0.
Also some very serious security issues known in all 3.0 older than STABLE24.

I'd even go so far as to say please try 3.1 if you can these days. The
3.1.0.17 bundle is close to final beta now.
