Hello All

I have a vmware on windows with FreeBSD 8 + Squid Cache version 3.0.STABLE24

When windows is shutdown , my bsd box is shutdown abnormally.

I restart the bsd box but the Squid logs.. Squid is already running!
Process ID ....

I have on rc.conf squid_enable="YES"

But the same.

Is any script or any idea to start and shutdown normaly?

Delete squid.pid (usually this file locate here:
/usr/local/squid/logs/squid.pid), then squid will start normally.
