You could set up a web page where the user can change their password.
And if you provide information about how to do this in the error page
sent by Squid then users should have an easy time to find there without
having to find a station where they can login using their personal
account.

Note: You need to add large amounts of text or comments to the error
message for MSIE to display it instead of it's built in dummy
messages...
