Hi

I'm using squid 2.6.18-1ubuntu3
8GB RAM
Intel Xeon Quad Core @ 2.00GHz each

My cache_dir is still default: cache_dir ufs /var/spool/squid 100 16 256

/var is in the root partition and there's not much space left. I want to
use /srv for caching instead, because I've got about 60GB free space on
that partition. I was thinking of using about 50GB for cache_dir.

I read that for linux aufs is better than ufs. What else do I need to
consider except change "ufs" to "aufs" and change "100" to "50000"?

Thanks

Dayo
