I found out what was wrong. It was in /etc/pf.conf, the int_if specified
as bfe0 should be bge0

So it was a Typo!!!!!

Thank you very much for your time and effort. I'm a bit ashamed that I
did not spot the typo earlier.

Everything is now acting as expected :-)
