 The Debian changelog and bugzilla have mentions of the problem and
 packages uploaded to Unstable which resolved it "issue with IPv6
 resolution in access.log" as the byline. There is a thread or two here
 in the mail archives (user and dev lists) of how the problem got
 diagnosed.

 Nothing particularly easy to spot, but findable through the front page
 of google if you search for it. And of course there is now also your
 query wording and results in the archives for others later.
