[squid-users] How does Tproxy 4 work?

Hello,

Can someone please explain how a tproxy 4 connection is handled by the kernel?

Also, the Tproxy4 read me says "The marked sockets has to be routed
locally ... ip route add local 0.0.0.0/0 dev lo table 100". If the
packets come in through eth0, how do they end up on the loop back
interface?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
