RE: [squid-users] Problem with auth on Squid 3

Thanks Amos,

Got that fixed no errors but it does not popup the username and password box now.....

Sigh did not think there will be such big difference between the Squid 2 & 3, did not had this issues with previous versions.....

auth_param basic program /usr/lib/squid/ncsa_auth /etc/squid/squid_user

Needs to be somewhere *above* the set of acl definitions. If you get errors about the auth helper setting itself up that is different and at least its progress.
