[squid-users] squid service not starting in windows

I have windows xp sp3 I did squid -i then it said start it in the applet. So I went to services.msc and tried to start it It said could not start the squid service error 1067 I did squid -X it said looked up FATAL in squid -X, said CACHE directory not created FATAL: cache_dir c:/squid/var/cache: (2) No such file or directory Squid Cache (Version 2.7.STABLE8): Terminated abnormally. So I created c:\squid\var\cache (The instructions on the windows squid site had said check that all directories mentioned in squid.conf exist..if not create them. I noticed one cache one didn't exist. So anyhow, I created it.
